Please read these Terms carefully before using SkinCompass. By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By accessing or using SkinCompass (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the Service.
These terms apply to all users of SkinCompass, including users with free Barrier Assessments, Pay-Per-Map purchasers, SkinCompass Members, and SkinCompass Pro subscribers.
SkinCompass is an educational AI-powered skin intelligence platform. It uses your quiz answers to generate personalized skin reports through structured scoring engines built on dermatology research.
SkinCompass is NOT a medical service, NOT a substitute for professional dermatological care, and NOT a clinical diagnostic tool. All reports are educational estimates and should not replace consultation with a licensed dermatologist or healthcare provider.
For any persistent skin concern, suspected medical condition, severe acne, suspicious moles, or any health issue that needs medical care, you must consult a licensed dermatologist or qualified healthcare provider.
To purchase a Skin Map, become a Member, or join Pro, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 18 should have parental or guardian consent before using the Service or making any purchases.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information as needed.
All purchases are processed securely through Stripe. SkinCompass does not store your credit card information directly.
Pay-Per-Map purchases are one-time charges that grant you lifetime access to a single Skin Map's full report.
SkinCompass Member and SkinCompass Pro are recurring subscriptions billed monthly, every 6 months, or annually depending on the plan you select. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund past billing periods.
All sales are final. SkinCompass is a consumable AI service — once a report is generated, the value has already been delivered.
The only exceptions are technical failures: a report that never generated, or a duplicate charge. Both require email proof and are reviewed case-by-case.

You agree to use SkinCompass only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
• Use the Service in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or computer systems connected to the Service
• Use any automated tools, bots, scrapers, or similar mechanisms to access the Service or collect data
• Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Service without express written permission from SkinCompass
• Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple people to use a single account
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent quiz responses
All content, features, scoring engines, algorithms, software, designs, text, graphics, images, and other materials made available on SkinCompass are the exclusive property of SkinCompass and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Your personal Skin Map reports are generated specifically for you and may be used for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not redistribute, republish, or commercially exploit your reports without permission.
The SkinCompass name, logo, and all related branding are trademarks of SkinCompass and may not be used without express written permission.
When you submit quiz answers, photos, or other information to SkinCompass, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you, improving our scoring engines, and conducting anonymized analytics.
We will never sell your personal information to third parties. Photos submitted for optional features (e.g., AI shade-match, photo log) are processed on your device whenever possible and are not transmitted to our servers unless explicitly stated.

SkinCompass is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure, or that the results of using the Service will meet your specific expectations.
Your Skin Map reports are educational estimates based on the inputs you provide. SkinCompass makes no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or outcomes related to your use of the reports or recommendations.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SkinCompass and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid SkinCompass in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
SkinCompass is an educational platform, not a medical service. We do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
If your reports flag concerns that warrant professional medical attention (such as suspected medical-grade acne, suspicious skin lesions, or persistent conditions), we will recommend that you consult a licensed dermatologist. Always follow the advice of qualified medical professionals.
Never delay seeking, or disregard, professional medical advice because of something you read in a SkinCompass report.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the bottom of this page and notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification.
Your continued use of SkinCompass after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users, to SkinCompass, or to third parties.
You may stop using SkinCompass at any time by cancelling your subscription and/or contacting support to delete your account.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Seoul, South Korea.
